REFUNDS
Where the money goes if you stop.
What's refundable, what isn't, and when: for both a build and hosting.
1. Website builds
- Cancel before design work begins: the full deposit is refunded.
- Cancel during design: 25% of your build price is refunded. The exact figure scales to whichever tier you chose — for example, $249.75 on Footing’s $999 build.
- Cancel after design sign-off: the deposit is non-refundable, and the remaining balance is still due on launch.
2. Hosting
Hosting is billed annually, and there are no partial-year refunds. Cancelling partway through a paid year doesn’t refund the remaining months. If a hosting invoice goes unpaid, there’s a 14-day grace period from the missed payment before the site is taken down. At that point, or any time before it, you receive the full source code as a zip file with setup instructions, free to host anywhere.
3. How refunds are processed
Refunds are returned to the original payment method: the same Razorpay or PayPal transaction the payment was made through.
