TERMS

The terms, plainly.

Not legal advice: a plain-language description of how a build or hosting arrangement with Sthuna works.

Effective 7 August 2026

1. Who these terms bind

These terms apply between you and Abhas Kumar, trading as Sthuna. By accepting a proposal or making the first payment for a build or hosting, whichever happens first, you agree to them.

2. Services

What’s included in a build and in hosting is set out on /services and /pricing. Where those pages and your written proposal disagree, the proposal governs.

3. Payment

Builds range from $999 (Footing) to $4,999 (Keystone) depending on the tier you choose, paid 50/50: half to start, half on launch. See /pricing for exact figures per tier. Post-launch work is not covered by the build price and is billed à la carte at $149/hour, one-hour minimum, in 15-minute increments after that. Payment is by Razorpay payment link, with PayPal available as an occasional fallback. Prices are in USD. Sthuna is not currently GST-registered, so no tax is added; if registration becomes required later, tax may apply to future invoices.

4. Revisions

Three rounds of revisions are included in a build. Each additional round after that is $50.

5. Post-launch work

A tier’s price covers the build described in your proposal. Changes, additions, or ongoing work after launch fall outside that price and are billed à la carte at $149/hour, one-hour minimum, in 15-minute increments after that. The work is scoped and the figure confirmed in writing before any of it begins.

6. What’s out of scope

Online stores with large inventories aren’t covered by this pricing. That’s a different scope and cost. Everything else, including service businesses, appointment and booking sites, and brochure sites, is in scope.

7. Your responsibilities

You’re responsible for supplying the content a build needs (text, images, and any other material) and for giving feedback in a timely way while it’s underway. Delays on your side move the delivery date back by the same amount.

8. Ownership and IP

Once a build is paid in full, you own the finished site: the domain is registered in your name, and you receive the complete source code. I may display the completed work in my portfolio unless you ask me not to.

9. Hosting terms

Every hosted site gets weekly backups and SSL. No uptime percentage is stated anywhere on this site. It isn’t measured, and a number that can’t be backed up isn’t worth publishing. If a hosting invoice goes unpaid, you have 14 days from the missed payment before the site is taken down; at any point before or during that window, you can request the full handover instead.

10. Termination

Either side can end a hosting arrangement at any time. On exit, whether you leave or hosting ends for non-payment, you receive the complete site as a zip file with setup instructions, free to host anywhere.

11. Limitation of liability

Sthuna provides builds and hosting on an as-is basis and isn’t liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses arising from a site’s use. Total liability for any claim is limited to the amount paid for the service in question.

12. Governing law and jurisdiction

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Bengaluru, Karnataka.
